The Killer Klowns from Outer Space game that I worked on involved a lot of fire, both in the usual places like campfires and fireplaces, and for map areas that are passively on fire to help show that the klowns are already well on their way to world domination. Here's a compilation of the vfx I made to bring that concept to life, some map areas that I set dressed, some under-the-hood looks at the high and low performance variations of the vfx, and a break down of the customizable niagara system I used to efficiently provide all the bells and whistles involved in setting the world ablaze.
